The Correlation Between Food Hygiene and Sanitation in Food Vendors of Lalapan with Enterobacteriaceae Contamination in Fresh Vegetables

Lalapan is a fresh vegetable usually eat up with rice and other Indonesian dishes. However, vegetables can potentially be contaminated pathogenic bacteria, such as Enterobacteriaceae, harming consumers if not appropriately processed cleaned. This study analyzes the correlation between food hygiene sanitation in vendors of Enterobacteriaceae contamination vegetables. It used an analytic observational design cross-sectional approach. In addition, population was lalapan Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. There were 30 respondents consecutive sampling method. Food instrument observation sheet according to 16 points stipulated Regulation Minister Health Republic Indonesia number 1096/MENKES/PER/VI 2011. we tested samples analyze microbiological test using Salmonella Chromogenic Agar (SCA) media.
